GABE BORDER
Overview
Whitetail Club sits at 5,000 feet of elevation in in the resort town of McCall, Idaho, on the western edge of Valley County. Designed by Roger Packard and two-time U.S. Open winner Andy North, Whitetail showcases nice design variety—enhanced by the way the hole architecture varied with the terrain: The holes amidst the towering alpine trees demand accuracy and precision and were often shorter, while the holes that are more open emphasized length and ability to hit a green with a long-iron or fairway wood.

“Beautiful course that winds through trees, lakes marshland with tremendous variety. A course I could be a member of the rest of my life except for the short playing season. A definite must to play if you get the chance."
