“Rees Jones design that relies on big greens and huge penal bunkers. The back 9 is not as enjoyable as the front 9. There are several blind shots and awkward holes. With the number of bunkers around the greens they are not many shot options around the greens."

“Echelon is an excellent test of golf from any tee box. It is one of the longest courses in Georgia and most challenging for scratch golfers playing the tips. There is a variety of short and long par 5s offering good risk/reward, and most holes provide large greens with quadrants that are fair but challenging. The course conditioning has always been exceptional when I've played here."
