“Cobblestone can be tricky. The landing areas are tight, and the greens are small and funky. There is a lot of mounding and contouring throughout the course, which offers some speed slots but can also create challenging lies, penal bounces & trouble spots. If your long game is on point, this course can be a lot of fun. The course is pushing 60k rounds per year so the greens show signs of wear, but they still roll fairly true considering the traffic. Overall, Cobblestone is a great public course option in the Atlanta area."

“Very good routing through the property with water coming into play on 7 holes. Great par-3 on the water with a driveable par 4 to follow. Some drainage issues with several holes remaining cart path only most of the time. Very busy municipal course but one of the nicer public offerings in the metro area."

“Very busy municipal course just north of Atlanta that was designed by Ken Dye, Jr. in 1993. The course has small, rolling greens that make you hit to the proper portion if you want to make putts. Many holes are routed next to or have views of Lake Acworth. This course is very affordable and has a very helpful staff. Great course to start or end a trip."

“Very skinny greens and fairways add to the challenge here. Good routing through property and every hole feels private to others. Some great holes 15-17. Can’t hit driver every hole and need strategy for second shot. Really fun course, solid public option. If conditioning was improved - green consistency, bunker consistency and some muddy spots, this would be a solid addition to Atlanta golf."

“One of the best public courses around. Installation of Bermuda greens has greatly improved year-round playability. Alternative sets of tees on some of the par 3s (particularly #3) are an interesting feature that can dramatically change the holes."
