Overview

Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons is a Tom Fazio design that has previously hosted the LPGA Tour’s Tournament of Champions. It’s a true out-and-back layout, where the front nine plays away from the clubhouse into the forest before turning back toward the resort. Many holes are lined with dense forest that surrounds the property, making you forget you’re just a couple miles from Disney World.

“Tranquilo's conditions are top notch and it's not overly busy considering it's proximity to Orlando theme parks. It has some of the best practice facilities around, the golf is fun and presents a lot of scoring opportunities, but a pretty typical Florida course in terms of character. Great spot for families to relax and enjoy the afternoon together!"

“Tranquilo is a very good course, if a bit unspectacular. Ownership by the Four Seasons has substantially reduced play so conditioning is superb. The front nine is less interesting, with holes such as 1/2/5/6/8 blending together, before turning it up on the back nine with an outstanding green complex at #11, and good holes at 12-15, and 17. #18 will no doubt be a controversial finisher (it made more sense as Osprey's #17), as the 225y par three to a tiny peninsular green jutting into a pond is a bit over the top compared to any challenge the player has seen on the first 17 holes. Regardless, the easy winner amongst the "on-campus" Disney courses, even though the resort no longer owns it."
