“Two completely different 9s await players on this course. While the 9s have been switched, the traditional front 9 is a decent test but not overly difficult. Two short par 4s start the course, followed by the signature 3rd hole, a Par 3 that requires a tee shot of 150-200 yards over water to a peninsula and then an approach back over the water. Long hitters (280 yards) can try to go for the green but there isn't much forgiveness. The remainder of the 9 features some scenic holes through the woods but not much water that comes into play. The 2nd 9 starts with a par 4 that is much tighter hole than anything on the front, and is followed by water on 6 of the remaining 8 holes and not much room for error. I would rate it higher but the conditions have varied over the years. Have seen it in great shape and also needing some care. But overall a fun layout."
