“Course defense is the wind which came strongly off Pensacola bay. Its the oldest course in Florida so it has some character and nostalgia. The greens were moderately slow with only a few that had any undulation or variation to them. A very long par 3 made a good attempt at being a beritz which I found appealing. The course conditions were fair at best. The layout did have variety to it with a drivable par 4 and a par 3 finishing hole right by the club house where you could envision in the hay day of this course a gallery watching you finish from the club house balconies.
