“Blasted out of the rocky hills of western CT, this exceedingly well-maintained track is intriguing. Up and down (and even sideways if we're talking about your lies) you go where the "plays like yardage" is considerably less than what shows on the scorecard. Huge, often undulating greens add to the difficulty. Not a huge fan of several blind shots. But the par 3's are very cool and there are a number of excellent holes. Based on what I've heard from locals, this seems like a love it or hate it track. But I lean more towards loving it. While it does have its quirks, there are enough positives for me to enjoy the loop."

“The course has gone through a major renovation. Tees, Bunkers, Tree removal, etc. They still have more tee boxers to complete in the master plan, but with the addition of a new head groundskeeper coming from WingedFoot, the course will prove to be in the top 10, if not the top 3 in a couple of years."
