“This is one of the most scenic courses in the Palm Desert/Indian Wells region. It is built in several valleys with towering rock mountains on one or both sides of most fairways. Weiskopf and Morrish created an interesting routing that maximizes aesthetics. They also added water features that fit nicely. The greens are large with more undulations than usually found on a Weiskopf layout. The conditioning was also exceptional."

“A very well-conditioned golf course flowing through desert canyons and along various water features with panoramic views of the Coachella Valley. When played fairways and greens were firm and fast throughout. Fairways were relatively generous but missed hit shots were likely to land in the desert landscape, well placed fairway bunkers or the various streams and water features /desert arroyos bordering / impacting the majority of the holes. Greens were large (approx. 7000 sq feet on average) with moderate contours and tiers. Given the size of the greens and moderate undulations, the greatest challenge to playing this course was putting. Good variety of hole lengths all moving equally between straight and left to right. For the most part, every green opened directly to the fairway allowing various options to approach shots (through the air or on the ground). Overall, the outstanding conditioning of the course, the panoramic views and hole design variety resulted in a very enjoyable round of golf."

“If you are looking for premium views and backdrops, The Reserve offers the best in the Palm Springs area. This Weiskopf / Morrish design offers a fantastic playable experience for all levels. The routing does an excellent job of changing elevation, utilizing the desert terrain as you wind your way through a gated community which is only noticeable on a 6-7 hole stretch. It embraces the rugged foothills, canyons and foliage while mixing in dramatic waterfalls and other aesthetic charm. A must play if in the area as you it allows for low scores with several risk reward Par-4's and 5's while adding some of the best desert golf scenery one can ask for."

“Wonderful setting for a golf course. Incredible views from multiple spots throughout the course. The golf course was in immaculate shape with firm playing conditions. Weiskopf did a great job of melding the golf course into the provided property. The course doesn't feel manufactured at all. A solid challenging golf course without being unnecessarily difficult. Layout variety was the weakest part of the course with most holes playing straight away and the par 3's playing similar lengths."
