Overview
Over the past several years, Serrano Country Club has undergone a comprehensive, multi-phase renovation totaling approximately $9 million, overseen by Bruce Charlton. The scope of work included a complete rebuild of every bunker on the property. Each bunker was repositioned, reshaped and fitted with new drainage infrastructure, capillary concrete liners and premium white sand. Many bunkers were strategically combined or relocated to improve playability, visibility from the tee and aesthetic presentation. Club also underwent an irrigation replacement, paired with a thoughtful turf reduction and native grass conversion plan on both nines. The intent was to define playing corridors more clearly, reduce water consumption and present the natural California landscape.
