Overview
You may recognize the name as the home club of PGA club pro Michael Block, who finished 15th in the 2023 PGA Championship. Once you play the course, you'll realize it’s no wonder he has game. Trabuco Creek plays as a lateral hazard on seven holes and on-course lakes come into play on three holes but worry not: five sets of tees allow you to play anywhere from 5,045 yards to just over 7,000 from the tips.

“This is a fun, playable, links style course in a serene, pastoral setting. The thoughtfully placed bunkers and sloping fairways require distance control or accuracy to have the best opportunity to score and gives a healthy dose of risk reward. The holes are beautifully framed by the terrain and every hole played differently from the previous ones."

“With no surrounding development this links style course designed in 2004 by Casey O'Callaghan and Tom Lehman is a quiet, pastoral journey through hilly terrain. The course recently remodeled the bunkers and surrounds in 2024 and the thoughtfully placed bunkering in concert with sloping fairways requires distance control or accuracy off the tee and adds a big dose of risk/reward to every tee shot. This is a fun, playable layout for all levels of golfer and offers multiple options for recovery and approach shots with humps, mounds, bunkers and collection areas around the greens. Most greens are interesting and protected, adjacent slopes can be used to get closer to the hole if you decide to play lower running shots to the green. Definitely a course that can be played everyday and keep your attention."

“This upscale public course is located in Mission Viejo, California. It opened for play in 2004 and was designed by Casey O’Callaghan. The course has generous fairways that are firm and fast. It meanders through rolling foothills and there are no houses on the course. The greens receptive and rolled well. Fairways bunkers are strategically placed and several of the fairway funnel towards the middle. The course is scenic , and has a nice variety of doglegs and elevation changes."
