“Willie Watson/Billy Bell design. An older golf course in Pasadena set in a relatively confined area using multiple arroyos for routing. The golf course had a great variety of holes given the land it was built on with a number of holes with reasonable elevation changes, which led to a number of blind shots to the elevated greens with deep bunkering. There was a nice variety of long/short holes, doglegs both L to R and R to L. Long and Short Par 4's and Par 3's. A few risk reward par 5's.......and one par4. The course was well bunkered off the Tee and around the Greens with plenty of Trees to guard the course where there was no bunkering. Some tricky/intimidating tees shots from elevated tees. Course plays significantly different from the various sets of Tees providing a challenge based upon playing level and ball striking ability. The fairways and bunkers were in good condition, while the greens were a little bumpy given recent aerification."

“A very fun gem tucked into the canyons in Pasadena, CA. The elevation changes drive the architectural character of this course. It creates a multitude of fun shots across the board. Drives that land on downsloping springboards, big bending putts down the prevailing canyon break-line, lots of high surrounds to frame approaches into the greens. Take the opportunity if one arises."

“Fun little golf course dating back to 1906 measuring 6600 yards from the back tees. Numerous elevated tee boxes allowing you to hit down into the canyons. Narrow fairways are the norm at this club. Greens in perfect condition. The layout runs back and forth, up and down giving you many different shot choices. The par 3 9th hole plays high above the heavily bunkered green. The par 4 16th tee sits on the highest point of the property and on a clear day you can see all the way to Catalina Island."

“Nice private Club. The golf course is good, but has a couple of strange holes that weakens the rating. Always seems to be in good shape. Range not the best (short) for warming up."

“Annandale is a course just down the road from the Rose Bowl. If you are a Big Ten fan, it is a great day to visit this course and then take a trip over the hill and see the historic football stadium. Annandale is a course that packs a punch. Great changes in elevation with tough bunkers throughout. The clubhouse is wonderful and the people were great."

“Very well done golf course considering a smaller track to navigate all 18 holes. Greens in excellent shape. Many holes route you through a mix of hills and canyons. Difficult approach shots determined by pin placements. Overall vibe of golf club is very friendly, super staff, great walking course."
