“Keith Foster- course architect This desert mountain course is located in Fountain Hills, Arizona, about 30 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. There are nice changes in elevation throughout the course. Some forced carries over ravines, waste areas and water. Overall a fun course and a good value compared to other courses in the area."

“This course has a little bit of everything desert golf is about. Shots that have to carry washes and canyons, some optics that make you 2nd guess yourself and water that comes into play as well. A great variety of hole design woven through a canyon, it's really beautiful. It is desert golf however and the desert comes into play pretty quickly. Unlike a lot of desert courses you're not likely to find you ball. It disappears into thick desert brush or down into rock fill chasms that are not really accessible for ball retrieval. SO make sure you have plenty of balls when you tee off because you play out and back, you do not come back to the clubhouse until after 18. The par 3's a long, the shortest one plays 185 from the back tees, # 8 was playing 260 when I played. The last 6 are called "The Wicked 6," not sure about wicked but 18 is a really good finishing hole. If you can keep the ball out of the desert you'll really enjoy the scenery and the golf."

“Interesting golf course with a wonderful restaurant and bar. The course is part of a residential community. Many of the holes are good, but lack some interest. However, the back nine holes are stunning. The marketing by the course is that the final six holes are the wicked six. I am not sure they are wicked, but they are truly great holes with water, doglegs, and fun shots."
