Overview
Raven Golf Club Phoenix is a Gary Panks and David Graham design that plays among stands of pine trees, giving it a unique setting in an area dominated by traditional desert layouts. Though most holes are relatively straight, the prominent contouring in the fairways and variety of bunkering prevents the course from getting monotonous. Vistas of the surrounding rugged mountains and Phoenix skyline are present throughout, which paired with the serene setting make this a fantastic public option in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

“Distinctive Phoenix golf experience set amidst hundreds of pine trees."

“Wide fairways with subtle to more severe undulation make for interesting outcomes and generally serve to assist wayward shots, not penalize them further. Bunkering is fairly well-distributed, creating options for longer hitters to attempt carries to shorten holes. Greens are subtle to read but readily allow for reasonable chances to two-putt from most places on the green surfaces."

“It is always an enjoyable round at the Raven. It is a very underrated and fun layout that is different than any other course that you will find in the Phoenix desert."

“The course is in great condition, however the course lacks design variety. Every hole is dead straight and greens are pretty flat, leaving the course not the challenging to the better player, but a dream for the average player looking for that straight ahead golf course"
