Surrounded by Lake Martin on three sides, Willow Point plays out on a peninsula with 12 holes located on the shores of the lake. Wind often plays a factor on this exposed track about an hour north of Montgomery, but the wide fairways and greens are forgiving. The back nine is especially memorable, as it plays along the lakeside and is framed by tall fescue and stone walls.

“A must play golf course with Lake Martin as a back drop. The front nine plays more to the wooded area with staying in the fairway is a must. Turning the the back nine the water becomes a main factor, really changing a players approach/drive on numerous holes. Staying in the fairway and our of the fescue will make for a much easier round."

“Beautiful and exciting country club course! Willow Point Golf and Country Club was not overly difficult but can play long from the back or even the blue tees. Wind is a significant factor, especially on the back 9, which nicely meanders around Lake Martin. Two distinct "nines" to play here with the front going through the woods and the back near the lake. Greens were in good shape, but sanded, when I played. The course is a lot of fun!"
