Overview
Interestingly, Greystone’s Legacy course is three miles from its sibling layout, giving the Legacy a more secluded feel. The rolling Rees Jones design sits in the valley of Double Oak Mountain, and similar to the Founders Course, features meandering streams that can pester players and force thoughtful decision-making throughout the round.

Review
“The Greystone Legacy course is a Rees Jones design in a fairly secluded natural environment. While the course is within a residential development, the houses do not interfere with the beauty of the course. The track is situated in the Double Oak Mountain Valley with many tree lined fairways, featuring lakes, rolling hills and streams that wind through the course. The course has five sets of tees with additional combo opportunities to insure that it plays to all levels of golfers. Off the tee box, the golfer can hit away to fairly wide fairways although setting up to the correct angle for approach shots is important. The bermuda greens run true and you should be below the hole as the greens are relatively quick. The Legacy provides an aesthetically pleasing golf experience for the golfer."

“Beautiful course, a lot of character. Conditioning was just average considering they were re-building #2, par 3."

Review
“Recent renovation of greens from bent to Bermuda and full bunker renovation throughout the course. Transition from bent to Bermuda greens allows much more firm and fast conditioning for this area of the country. Wonderful elevation changes hole to hole. This is a residential development golf course, however the designer did a good job putting the homes far enough back off the playing corridors and one does not even notice the homes on the majority of shots."
