Zach Johnson looked like your typical Sunday golfer practicing at Oakmont

Shorts? A breakfast ball? It would have been easy to confuse two-time major champion Zach Johnson with your typical weekend golfer when he started his practice round at Oakmont on Sunday. Check it out:

Of course, if you watched any more of his round, it would have been a lot easier to tell he's one of the best golfers in the world. Still, it's funny to see such a relaxed atmosphere at what will be such a serious venue come Thursday.

What's not funny? ZJ's U.S. Open record. In 12 starts, Johnson surprisingly has five missed cuts and nothing better than a T-30 at Congressional in 2011. However, we're still picking him as one of our best bets (60-to-1 odds!) for Oakmont.

The final leader board the last time Oakmont hosted the U.S. Open in 2007 was filled with as many bombers (Angel Cabrera, Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, etc,) as short hitters (Jim Furyk, David Toms, Scott Verplank, etc.). We're expecting Johnson to better his T-45 finish -- provided he can keep it to one ball off the tee.
