You won't believe how long it took for this Bubba Watson birdie putt to drop

More than an inch of rain on Wednesday night in the Pittsburgh area softened up Oakmont for Thursday's first round. Although, you wouldn't be able to tell that from this Bubba Watson putt. Watson faced about a 40-footer for birdie on the 10th hole, but he hit it like a four-footer and gravity did the rest. Check it out:

If you watch the clip closely, you'll notice that a full 13 seconds elapse between the time Watson strokes the putt and the ball drops in the hole. The ball just doesn't stop. And again, this is Oakmont playing SLOW.

In any event, the birdie was Watson's third in a row. The only thing slowing him down? A horn for the day's second weather delay, which blew moments after.
