Watch this swarm of bees become a problem for Gregory Bourdy and Danny Willett

There are certain distractions golfers come to expect on a course during tournament play. An accidental click of a camera from a photographer. A crying baby from the grandstand. Outrageously loud pants from John Daly. Etc. Etc.

But one you don’t typical think you’ll encounter crossed the path of Gregory Bourdy and Danny Willett at the Open de France: a swarm of bees.

Bourdy looked to get the worst of it—so much everyone on the scene at Le Golf National outside Paris loving the local Frenchman—but he still went on to shoot an opening-round 69. (Willett didn’t fare as well with a 75.) Thankfully it appears neither golfer was stung.
