Watch Russell Knox's epic winning hat toss (And compare it to a famous Tiger Woods reaction)

Jim Furyk's 58 stole the show on Sunday at the Travelers Championship, but Russell Knox was the big winner. And he displayed a flair for the dramatic as well.

Needing a par on the 72nd hole to hold off Jerry Kelly and close out his second PGA Tour title, Knox found a greenside bunker and hit his third shot to 12 feet. But he converted the putt and unleashed one of the most vicious victory hat throws the game has ever seen. Check it out:

We say it was only one of the most because, of course, when you're talking hat throws, you start with Tiger Woods at Bay Hill in 2008 (Fast forward to the 1:30 mark):

And of course, there was Arnold Palmer's visor toss after winning the 1960 U.S. Open:

A little different technique, but still a classic.

In any event, Knox's winning reaction was fantastic. And the win, his second of the PGA Tour season, also helped the Scotsman's chances of making the European Ryder Cup team.

"That putt, I’ll remember that one for ever," Knox told reporters after. "I felt like the Incredible Hulk when it went in. I could have ripped my shirt off."

Maybe he's saving that reaction for Hazeltine.
