OAKMONT, Pa. -- Phil Mickelson's bid for the ever-elusive U.S. Open title got off to a rocky start on Friday with a bogey on No. 10, his first hole of the tournament. But Lefty bounced back in a big way on the 11th, doing this with his approach shot:
Mickelson converted the birdie, bringing him back to even. Given Mickelson has 34 more holes to play on Friday, don't be surprised to see another highlight or two.
