Watch Ha Na Jang's historic par-4 hole-in-one -- and fantastic reaction

Thankfully, there was a camera focused on the drivable par-4 eighth hole even though it wasn't during the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic's TV window. Even better, that camera was turned on. As a result, we were all able to see Ha Na Jang make LPGA history by recording the tour's first-ever hole-in-one on a par 4.

And her reaction when she got to the green might have been even better. Check it out.

Jang holed a 3-wood from 218 yards to accomplish the feat. Andrew Magee is the only player to make an ace on a par 4 during a PGA Tour event, pulling off the trick on the 17th hole at TPC Scottsdale at the 2001 Phoenix Open.

But Magee's ace needed to ricochet off Tom Byrum's putter (he hit into the group ahead by accident). And there's no footage of the ball actually going in the hole. And he didn't bow down and kiss the ground. Advantage: Jang.

Afterward, she said it was her dad, who was up by the green, who alerted her to the ball going in by raising his arms in celebration. As for the kiss? "It's Korean style," said Jang with a smile that we don't anticipate disappearing anytime soon.
