Watch Greg Owen strip down to save a bird at TPC Sawgrass

You won't find Greg Owen's name listed among the favorites for this week's Players Championship. But if you're a believer in karma, you might want to place a bet on the big Englishman, who apparently, has an even bigger heart.

During Monday's practice round at TPC Sawgrass, Owen was walking off the 16th green when he saw a blue jay fall out of a tree and then crash land in the pond that surrounds one of golf's most famous holes when it tried to fly away. So Owen switched into lifeguard mode, stripped down, and waded into the water to save the bird. Fortunately, his instructor, Tony Ziegler, got it all on video:

Greg Owen might not be a PGA Tour winner (yet), but he's officially a PGA Tour hero.
