OAKMONT, Pa. -- Yani Tseng, the two-time major who's just 21 years old, looks like she's wearing a huge Band-Aid on her right elbow (see image, below). Alas, it's not what it appears to be.
Tseng has been applying Kinesio Tape to protect tendinitis in her elbow (Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong have also relied on it). She wears it during almost every round. As opposed to traditional athletic tape, which protects injuries by constricting movement, Kinesio relieves injuries by promoting the circulation of blood.
