Only one week after Tiger Woods pulled a John Daly and withdrew mid-round from the WGC Cadillac Championship because of an Achilles injury, he was back on the course at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club for the Tavistock Cup. As ESPN points out, Woods showed no noticeable limp all day and finished with six birdies in his round with partner Justin Rose, who as a team shot nine-under 63.
I don't want to sit here and chastise the man for taking his health into consideration, but it's hard not to believe Tiger is a different player than the one who won the U.S. Open on two fractured legs. Let us never forget the aerial coverage.
