OAKMONT, Pa.—Was Adam Scott channeling his inner Happy Gilmore?
During the morning 18 in the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont, the Australian Scott unveiled his answer to Nike’s Blade shirt line. Only minus any collar at all.
The new-look Uniqlo shirt looked like a henley that, as noted on social media, slightly resembled a shirt worn by his fellow big hitter.
Scott opened with a 71 in the collarless shirt, then changed to a more traditional gray Uniqlo golf shirt for the afternoon.
