Second round: Day shoots a 73 in tough conditions

Jason Day was unable to find a rhythm on Friday, finishing the second round of The Masters at one-over-par.

World No. 1 Jason Day was among those who struggled on a difficult day for scoring during the second round of the Masters, shooting a one-over par 73 at Augusta National on Friday.

Day was two-under on the first nine holes, but recorded three bogeys on the back nine. When he finished he was seven shots behind leader Jordan Spieth.

New Zealand's Danny Lee, who was tied for second after the first round, shot a two-over par 74 on Friday, dropping him to two-under through 36 holes.

Bubba Watson, a two-time Masters champion, shot a three-over 75, dropping him to six-over, two shots off the projected cutline.
