Se Ri Pak uses gym equipment on the range

PINEHURST, N.C. -- The most common warm-up tool I've seen on the range are elastic bands. Players have been using them for stretching and a little resistance work. But then I saw Se Ri Pak using a medicine ball. Medicine balls are something that you usually see in a gym, not on the range at the U.S. Open.

Before Pak started hitting balls, she took out the med ball and made about a three-quarter takeaway, throwing the med ball in the follow through to her caddie. She did about five right-handed, then turned and did another five left-handed.
