PGA Tour pro points out all-time snub job in Farmers Insurance Open tournament notes

Sean M. Haffey

Michael Kim was in a great mood on Sunday evening, and why not? After finishing T-6 at the American Express (and getting paid like a top five due to Nick Dunlap's amateur status), the 30-year-old even treated himself to a delicious meal at In-N-Out Burger:

Good for you, Michael. But he quickly got brought back down to earth on Monday morning while perusing the tournament notes for this week's PGA Tour stop at Torrey Pines.

For Kim, the Farmers Insurance is a homecoming having gone to high school in the San Diego area. But whoever put this week's notes together missed that—and Michael wasn't too pleased about it:

Ouch. Sure, it's been a while since Michael won the 2018 John Deere Classic, but he's still a PGA Tour winner! Although we can't feel too badly for a guy who went to Torrey Pines High School. Guessing he wasn't dealing with too many snow days out there.

Hey, mistakes happen. And the people putting those notes together do a great job overall. But, yeah, that's an all-time snub. Although, good for Cameron Sisk for making the cut there.

As Michael says, "play better," but it's hard to play much better than a T-6! Anyway, keep up the good playing—and tweeting—Michael.
