ST. LOUIS — Dustin Johnson is unflappable. We’ve already established that after he shook off USGA rules officials and conspiring cameramen at Oakmont. But Johnson took that equanimity to a new level on Friday at the PGA Championship.
On Bellerive’s third hole, an errant ball almost hit Johnson mid-swing on his tee shot.
Death-stare aside, it didn't seem to bother the World No. 1, as he managed to stick his approach to 11 feet. Better yet, Johnson cashed in on the green for the bird. Maybe that’s the definition of “living under par.” The birdie moved Johnson to even on the day and three under for the tournament.
