No Crosby weather for the Open

The weather for the four days of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach won't resemble in any manner the nasty weather that often plagues the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in February.

High temperatures will range from 61 to 64 degrees, with mild wind and no precipitation expected, according to the Weather Channel. The forecast says it will be mostly cloudy on Thursday and Friday and partly cloudy on the weekend.

All in all, the spectators will be comfortable, the players less so on an Open course that in the absence of rain will play hard and fast.
