Defending champion Rory McIlroy is in the field for the PGA Championship next week, even has a starting time, which means...presumably he'll give it a go.
McIlroy, who missed the British Open after injuring his ankle two weeks earlier, had been dropping hints via Twitter that he'll play at Whistling Straits, and the PGA of America Tweeted this on Friday, which then was re-Tweeted by McIlroy:
