Welshman Jamie Donaldson, known to American golf fans as the European Ryder Cup player who clinched the winning point for the Euros in 2014 at Gleneagles, shared a gross-looking photo of his stitched up finger on Monday. From the looks of it, Donaldson is just lucky he still has his finger.
This isn't the first time a chainsaw has threatened a golfer's livelihood. Greg Norman needed surgery to repair nerve damage in the fall of 2014.
Donaldson's tweet indicates he'll be ready to tee it up at the European Tour's Dubai Desert Classic, which starts Feb. 4. Considering how brutal that injury looks, Donaldson is lucky to play at all in 2016, let alone in a couple of weeks.
