Graham DeLaet rips Patrick Reed for withdrawing from Farmers Insurance Open

Like the rest of the field at Torrey Pines this week, Graham DeLaet was not happy about playing in the awful weather that hit the San Diego area on Sunday. But he was even more upset about a fellow pro who decided not to tee it up at all.

Twitter. Shots. Fired.

Reed withdrew with an ankle injury after a third-round 81 that put him in Sunday's last group off the 10th tee with DeLaet and Scott Piercy. Reed was the only player who withdrew before the final round, and DeLaet offered these responses ahead of Sunday's round as well:

However, the Canadian gave a pass to anyone thinking of withdrawing before the conclusion of the final round on Monday.

Reed hasn't responded on Twitter, though, perhaps, DeLaet should have tagged him in the original tweet if he wanted one. DeLaet was four over through 11 holes and tied for last among those who made the cut when play was stopped on Sunday. But to his credit, he tried to make the most of the bad weather.
