Best Golf Club Shipper

Consumers have a louder voice than ever, demanding that service-industry companies deliver convenience. Since its founding in 2011, Ship Sticks has improved its club-shipping service ($40 to $65 for one-way ground shipping through UPS or FedEx), proving to be an affordable alternative to shipping your clubs by working directly with golf courses.

For anyone who has had a positive experience using Ship Sticks or rival club-shipping service Luggage Forward, it's hard to go back to checking your bag through an airline. For a couple of extra bucks—typically, the difference between using Ship Sticks and an airline's secondary baggage charge turns out to be $20-$30—you can schedule a pick-up to ship directly to the course. The company will track your bag and expedite the shipment if an on-time arrival appears in jeopardy.

Ship Sticks officials promise an app will be introduced this year that will allow customers to schedule their pick-ups on the go. And officials say the company will be expanding its service to offer golfers the ability to ship additional luggage items when you ship your clubs.
