This is a cool look at Nike’s new MM Fly Roll collar from the Valspar Championship winner. I’ve always loved the clean lines of a classic ribbed polo collar tucked into a crew-neck sweater. Nike has channeled that same style into this short-sleeve polo, sans sweater.

Charley Hoffman
Hoffman has been on the matte-belt trend for a while, but this move is always worth a Week in Style nod. Straps in these slate tones look modern and work with trousers in shades at either end of the color spectrum. Add one of these belts to your wardrobe, and you’ll be surprised how often you take it out for a spin.

On the other hand, a black leather belt is a more specific style, one that really requires a dark trouser to level out the contrast. Wearing a black strap with light pants breaks up an outfit in all the wrong ways.

I love the idea of repeating a theme for a tournament, except this styling feels a bit aggressive for the smooth swinging South African. Clothes don’t “make the man,” they’re simply a part of his personal expression. These plaid polos feel like the wrong match here.

Morgan Hoffmann
Strong prints on a shirt set against a dark color make a very modern and masculine statement. These looks have become a style signature for upstart golf lifestyle brand, Greyson, and Hoffmann.

Seung-Yul Noh
While Nike made a lot of noise with its three new collar styles, there’s nothing new about the company’s clean lines and modern styling. Noh wore this less-is-more look Thursday at the Valspar Championship and made a very simple, stylish statement.

Keegan Bradley
OK, if I had custom MJs I’d probably rock them all day, everyday, too. I’ve said from the jump that Bradley’s shoes themselves are cool, but his styling could use some work. On or off the course, if your shoes have this much attitude, keep the rest of your outfit on the darker, simpler side.

Pelle Edberg
I don’t mind an un-tucked shirt on the golf course. That said, the more casual move takes a relaxed vibe to really pull it off. At last week’s Thailand Classic, Edberg was wearing his standard tour set-up with his shirt outside his trousers, and it looks like an accident. I would have demoed this laid-back look with some shorts during a practice round as opposed to putting it in play on the weekend of a tour event.
