Listen, I’m not going to pretend that Furyk is suddenly stylish because he dropped a 58 on the record books Sunday at the Travelers. Still, the guy could have worn a garbage bag this weekend, and we would’ve been blinded by that stellar showing. Well done, James!

Tonal color blocking is impactful because it creates texture as opposed to just attracting attention with bright color or bold pattern. This is a very stylish move from one of the game’s young up-and-comers. This blade collar is growing on me, too.

I get that Nike can’t do much to dissuade Tiger from wearing red and black together, but officials can do their best to steer younger guys in a more stylish direction. Ancer is a smart-looking kid, but the high level of contrast in his kit dumbs down the outfit. In general, black is a harsh shade and looks best with soft tones of grays and muted-matte colors.

The South African has one of the silkiest swings on the PGA Tour but this busy check and white belt combination makes for one awkward look. White belts are bad enough on young guns but they look even more out of place on seasoned veterans.

This isn’t a bad look, and Aaron’s bright personality certainly balances out his dark and serious Ogio gear. What does this dude have to do to get a headgear sponsor, though? He did just win a PGA tour event, right?

Donald could be the classiest pro on tour if he would just lose that visor. I’m not sure when the high-crown style shifted to this half-a-cap deal but it has been a black eye on golf style since its inception.

Bubba Watson
Sometimes it’s the most unlikely combinations that make the most stylish ones. Bubba’s bright blue-striped polo and camo visor actually balance each other quite well. All tech gear in bright colors can feel expected on tour. Too much camouflage, and you’ll end up looking like Larry the Cable Guy. Bubba found a cool medium between these two aesthetics.

Rickie Fowler
Rickie was born to play for the U.S. and you’d be hard pressed to find a guy more pumped to rock the red, white and blue than this guy. No matter what the team scripts look like, Fowler will be sure to have his swag on100 when he tees it up for Team USA this week in Rio.
