The wheels kind of fell off during the last two rounds of the AT&T Byron Nelson outside Dallas, but Koepka still netted a second-place check after falling in a playoff with Sergio Garcia while maintaining his spot near the top of this season’s style leader board. Brooks’ clean Nike looks feature bold color and simple styling. Notice how his white belt almost disappears against his white trousers? That’s the only way to keep the white strap in your game these days.

Believe it or not, this variegated stripe is one of the boldest designs we’ve seen in a Spieth script since he turned pro. The styling is safe, and the fit remains on point. I still think his polos in smaller set patterns and strong colors feel fresher and more fun. Even though there’s more going on with this shirt, it feels generic.

I love when details are done in different ways, but Iwata’s plaid placket almost makes it looks like he has got a necktie tucked into his shirt. Although that could sound like a cool take on a classic look, it just ends up looking over designed.

That said, the pop over, or extended placket polo, Iwata wore Thursday at the AT&T Byron Nelson was a very cool iteration of a classic silhouette. I can see this look being a popular one on and off the course this summer.

The zipper pull polo is one of those styles that should be left in the golf archives, never to return, right beside the mock turtleneck. Ben Crane looked like a lost cyclist Thursday at TPC Four Seasons.
