AIMING ROUTINEIt's important to check your alignment on the greens. I do it before most competitive rounds with a putting device I got from Dave Pelz years ago. If you're not lined up right, you make it difficult to drain putts.
ON ANCHORINGI wasn't worried when the USGA and R&A released its ban on anchored putting. The way my stroke works, with the butt end of the grip still moving, I knew my arm-lock method would be OK.
DRIVERSpecs: Bridgestone J715, 9.5 degree, Accra M4+ 55 Tour Prototype shaftIt took me only a couple of hours of testing this fall before I put this in play. It's got a little larger face, so I feel like it has a bigger sweet spot.
FAIRWAY WOODSpecs: Ping G25, 15 degree, Aldila Tour Blue 85-X shaft, 43 inchesI can launch this high enough to hold a green on a par 5 but flat enough off the tee where I'm not sacrificing distance.
HYBRIDSSpecs: Ping Anser, 20 and 23 degree, Aldila Tour Blue 85-X shafts, 1 degree flatWith all the long-iron shots at Augusta, I used a second hybrid for the first time at last year's Masters. I thought it'd be for one event, but it stayed.
IRONSSpecs: Bridgestone J15 CB irons, 5-iron to pitching wedge, SteelFiber i95cw X-flex shaftsThe perimeter weighting on these new irons offers just the right forgiveness while not giving up any feel.
WEDGESSpecs: Bridgestone J40 (52 degree), Cleveland 588 RTX (57 degree), Titleist Vokey SM4 (63 degree)I added an extra wedge after the groove rule. I've had this setup for two years.
PUTTER
Specs: Bettinardi Kuchar 1 Arm Lock, 44¾ inches, 7 degree loft, 400 grams (head weight)My new grip helps keep my wrists stable. When I began with this technique in 2013, it was fun dialing in a putter.
Art workMy young kids had some fun marking my Bridgestone B330-S ball. I still use that mark today. My deciding factor for a ball? How it performs in the wind.
Location, locationIt's a dream to live on St. Simons Island with all the courses, good weather and so many other tour pros. Ocean Forest and Sea Island are spots I'll practice.
Kids on my mindIt's important for me to have little reminders of my family on my bag. They bring a smile to my face.
Giving backThe husbands scored the most runs in the 2014 PGA Tour Wives Charity Wiffle Ball game at Sea Island. But the kids we helped were the real winners.
