Sneak Peek: Masters Style Preview

adidasHe wears his clothing so well that everything will look solid. The gray tonal look is his best combination. The white belt, however, is a distraction. It's way too predictable and serves only to break up his look. When you're tall and strong and match the colors of your shirt and trousers, you will look more powerful without the white strap.

adidasIt's a really interesting mix. I like the red shirt, which is on trend with the engineered stripes on the right shoulder. But again, the white belt. What gives?

adidasThis is an inspired strategy, selecting a basic white shirt with a hint of color every day.

GraysonHoffmann will be wearing this newly created collection. Charlie Schaffer is the driving force behind the brand, and he pulls out all the stops by giving Morgan some really fun, festive trousers. He's right on trend with a modern camp design and the dots look pretty sweet. Thumbs up for bringing some style sizzle.

Greg NormanTodd looks very solid with a well thought out lineup. Friday and Saturday have more color, and I think will look much better then the Thursday and Sunday shirts that are predominately white. Having said that, everything looks pretty great against the Augusta greens.

Greg NormanThe Greg Norman engineered stripes will work well Thursday to Saturday. Once again I prefer to see anything other than a white ground shirt. With John's height he can wear strong colors.
Webb Simpson
IzodAs usual, the former U.S. Open champion will be wearing red, white and blue. Specifically, Simpson will be sporting the new Tour+ line of shirts, which all play off the patriotic theme. He stays on trend with the engineered stripes—even with his belts. It's bold and impactful. A clean-cut look is what we've come to expect from Webb. He pulls it off just right.
Rory McIlroy
NikeRory and Nike have found a way to add a consistent element with white trousers every day. It will emphasize his tops, which are right on trend with neon yellow -- Nike calls it Volt. Meanwhile, his Sunday choice will look great with, well, you know what.
Tiger Woods
NikeTiger can really sell product in golf shops, and his Nike shirts have been looking very crisp and sharp. In addition to that go-to red on Sunday, he can wear stripes and patterns well and even make a touch of neon work. He looks better in lighter-colored trousers as they allow the TW15 shoes to blend a bit more.
Bubba Watson
OakleyThe defending champion covers some of the current trends with engineered stripes (Friday) and color blocks (Sunday). Unfortunately, though, Sunday's look is uninspired. He'll look pretty dull in the Butler Cabin when he places the green jacket on someone else or keeps it himself. Sunday's look just isn't complementary to the Masters colors.

Peter MillarThis is a steady and smooth look with moderate color choices. It's low key and consistent. My only qualm is that Thursday's shirt will wash out on television, so why select it?

Peter MillarThis is just great -- a perfect balance with just enough color. One of my favorites.

Peter MillarSnedeker looks consistently solid every day. Everyone can learn from his combinations, which keep the color/strong-pattern choices to one article (shirt, sweater or pant). This increases their impact tenfold. I love Sunday's stripe and hopefully it's cool enough for him to have to wear that great sweater.
Rickie Fowler
PumaThere is a reason why Rickie is always on the style leader board. He knows how to sell stylish color combinations (and he doesn't even need orange to do it). The Saturday rig with those tonal stripes is inspired, but I give him a 1/2 point deduction for the white belts.
Luke Donald
Ralph Lauren PoloIt's impossible for him to not look great with the impeccable options available. The balance of just the right amount of color gives Donald a clean, sporty look. Love the Sunday Navy rig!
Billy Horschel
RLX/Ralph Lauren/Polo GolfHorschel's RLX wardrobe is strong on color and contrast. The fit is very athletic. This is a classic example of a player wearing a clean, simple setup but wearing it with flare and purpose. That's Horschel's personality.
Keegan Bradley
Travis MathewNo surprise that Bradley will wear red, white and blue as that seems to be his go-to color palette, but this is more color than we're used to seeing from Travis Mathew. It's simple, straightforward and pretty laid back in look even for Keegan. The white pants every day will help the red shoes stand out. Sure wish they were for sale!
Jordan Spieth
Under ArmourUnder Armour has really stepped up and given Spieth some variety in color and style. I love the choice of belt for Sunday and the way it blends with his shirt. This is a big upgrade. He also will be wearing new Under Armour footwear; the company is offering limited-edition models of the UA Drive One to celebrate the year's first major.
Adam Scott
UNIQLOUNIQLO has provided some pop to Scott's looks, particularly on Friday and Saturday. Bold and confident is my read. Sunday, meanwhile, is quiet, careful and respectful, a wise choice.
