First, you have to decide if golf is really your game.
Then it's important to be sure you like the golf course.
And make sure the members are nice.
Good food is key, too. You'll be eating there plenty.
And don't discount how well you get on with the staff.
For instance, you probably want to make sure the head pro isn't at all creepy.
Eventually, you should probably inquire how much this is all going to cost.
Which means you also need to see if you have the money to swing it.
Once you're ready to dive in, you'll likely need to fill out some paperwork.
And you'll be asked to meet some more members.
At that point they might take you out to play golf, just to make sure you're not awful.
Or you're not, like, painfully slow.
Also, probably best to keep your anger issues in check.
If all goes well, you should hear back that you're in.
Although sometimes there's a waiting list.
And then you'll probably have to pay an initiation.
But pretty soon the tee will be yours. Have fun!
