Watch Brittany Lincicome and Angela Stanford do the "whip/Nae Nae" dance in the Solheim Cup team room

September 17, 2015

Count the U.S. Solheim Cup team as being part of one of the biggest dance crazes of 2015.

We'll forgive you if you haven't been "whipping" and "Nae-Nae"-ing all summer. For those who haven't been, it's a rap dance that's become really popular over the last couple of months.

Over in Germany, U.S. Solheim Cuppers Michelle Wie and Alison Lee were playing a match against Brittany Lincicome and Angela Stanford. The bet? Two rap fans (Wie and Lee) against two country music fans (Lincicome, Stanford) Whichever team lost would have to do the "nae nae" dance in front of the whole team.

Oh, and the team caddies. And Junior Solheim Cup team members. And other representatives of the U.S. team. No pressure!

Here's the video:

Looks like Stanford stole the show. When she threw up her hands and put the room in laughs, that was a pretty cool moment. Say what you want about the competitiveness of the U.S. players -- and much has been written about. But it looks like they're having fun.
