Tiger's victory also allows us to once again put his career in perspective. Despite the long, much publicized drought, Woods is still on a better pace than Jack Nicklaus was on his way to winning a record 18 majors. In fact, his winless streak of 30 months pales in comparison to the record for the longest time between wins on the PGA Tour. Actually, pales doesn't do him justice; Tiger Woods isn't even in the same conversation with the droughts these players suffered. When someone asks you if you think Tiger Woods can overcome these past two years and once again be the greatest golfer in the world, feel free to bring up these five examples of players who took over a decade between wins.
