Overview
Set within vast salt marsh creeks and lined with moss-draped heritage oak trees, the Oak Marsh Golf Course is a classic Pete Dye design. Built around the same time as Dye’s renowned Harbour Town Golf Links at Hilton Head, Oak Marsh is a challenging but enjoyable wetland course. The layout hosted the 1988 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur.

“The Oak Marsh course in Amelia Island offers a lot of shot options, as you have a wide array of lines and club selection options off the tee. The short Par-5s and a couple of the short Par-4s offer an excellent risk reward opportunity if you're willing to take on the hazards. The routing of the back-9 enhances the golf course as the first 6 holes are somewhat mundane. The closing holes offer the most picturesque views on the golf course while also providing the stiffest challenge especially if the wind is blowing. The layout has a lot of variety as the course winds its way through this plantation offering a fun and memorable round while staying on Amelia Island."
