2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans tee times, TV coverage, viewer's guide

One of the most memorable moments of Rory McIlroy’s unforgettable Masters victory was his touching exchange/celebration with Shane Lowry outside the Augusta National clubhouse moments after the final putt dropped. Lowry also wrote a congratulations on social media declaring that he has “never been happier to watch someone else achieve something” that he so badly wants himself.

Now the two will have a chance to achieve something together: Back-to-back Zurich Classic wins.

McIlroy and Lowry defeated Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in a playoff at last year's Zurich Classic to win their 25th and third PGA Tour titles, respectively. It was McIlroy’s debut at the lone team event on tour after the two decided to join forces during a “really drunken lunch.” The return to New Orleans will alos be Rory’s first time back since his Augusta National victory. And that means that there’s a (slightly better than) non-zero chance he tees off in his green jacket on Thursday.

Along with the McIlroy/Lowry and Ramey/Trainer duos, we’re set for another great set of twosomes at TPC Louisiana. Top-25 talents Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama will return, and there will be quite a few sibling teams, including Alex and Matt Fitzpatrick, Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard and Yannik and Jeremy Paul. A few countries will be represented, as well, such as Canada (Nick Taylor/Adam Hadwin) France (Matthieu Pavon/Victor Perez) South Africa (Erik van Rooyen/Christiaan Bezuidenhout) and Japan (Ryo Hisatsune/Takumi Kanaya).

This is the eighth year of a Zurich Classic team event, and the rounds will be played as follows:

• Thursday, Four-ball (best ball)
• Friday, Foursomes (alternate shot)
• Saturday, Four-ball
• Sunday, Foursomes

Each of this week's winners will receive 400 FedEx Cup points and a $1,329,400 cut of the $9.2 million purse.

TV Schedule

Golf Channel will carry live coverage on Thursday and Friday from 3-6 p.m. ET. On Saturday and Sunday, Golf Channel will air coverage from 1-3 p.m. with CBS taking over from 3-6 p.m.
