Sixty-four of the world’s top 69 players are set to play in the PGA Tour’s only match-play event of the season. The field at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play will be divided into 16 groups of four before the round-robin play begins on Wednesday. Players will earn a full point for a win and a half point for a tied match, with the top points winner in each group advancing to the weekend's knockout brackets.

Bryson DeChambeau will return at Austin Country Club after being sidelined with a hand and hip injury; he’ll be paired with Talor Gooch, Lee Westwood and Richard Bland. That’s just one of many interesting groupings for this week.

Billy Horschel will be back to defend his title after beating Scottie Scheffler, 2 and 1, in the championship match a year ago. Horschel will be looking to make some history as the second tour pro ever to defend his title in this event. Tiger Woods was the only player to do that so far, going back-to-back in 2003 adn 2004.

Recent WGC-Match Play winners in the field include Horschel, Kevin Kisner, Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson.

The winner will receive 550 FedEx Cup points and a $2.1 million share of the $12 million purse.
