Dad dunks ace of the year at Upper Deck Golf stadium, wins $5K PXG club set
The year is 2025, and the debate about what constitutes a genuine hole-in-one rages on. Now, thanks to this lucky dad, we have another new variation to add to the ace authenticity committee’s growing queue:
The Upper Deck Golf hole-in-one. Let's evaluate.
Each summer, Upper Deck Golf turns empty MLB ballparks into makeshift driving ranges, giving golfers a chance to hit a few dingers of their own. Though we’re sure it’s happened, we’ve yet to see an ace on one these setups, let alone a slam dunk ace, until now. The shot went down at Cincinnati’s Great American Ballpark and was recorded on the stadium’s prize hole. According to the poster, the ace earned his dad a brand-new set of PXG clubs, including a professional fitting, free balls for a year and a Bluetooth speaker.
But back to the million-dollar question: Does it count? Honestly, with a prize package like that, who cares?
