Thomas Bjorn had an all-time reaction after getting an all-time lucky break
From winning 15 European Tour events to captaining a winning Ryder Cup team, Thomas Bjorn has done a lot of things during his long golf career. But we're pretty sure the 51-year-old Dane has never made a par quite like the one he did on Thursday.
After making the turn at two under during the first round of the 2022 British Masters, Bjorn found himself facing a difficult shot from a back bunker on the par-4 10th at The Belfry. And boy, did he absolutely brick. But instead of him blading his third shot into the water, his golf ball caromed up off the face of the bunker before perfectly trickling toward the hole—and it prompted a perfect reaction. Have a look:
The stunned stare toward the camera? Check. The celebratory club toss? Check. And the relieved dive to the ground? Also check. It's a master class in how to handle getting a lucky break.
Also notice playing partner Ryan Fox nearly drop to the ground from laughter:

Classic. Of course, to make this a proper highlight, Bjorn finished the job by converting the par putt to remain in red figures on the opening day of the DP World Tour event. And then he smiled and tipped his cap to the crowd:
That's a pro's pro right there.
