Golf fans attending this 2025 3M Open will see a familiar duo working together inside the ropes.
Webb Simpson and his former longtime caddie Paul Tesori are joining forces again at this week's PGA Tour stop. Although, according to Tesori, it's just a one-week partnership.
Shout-out to a Minnesota realtor named Chad Eckert, who noticed the pairing during a Tuesday practice round at TPC Twin Cities:
And Tesori confirmed the news on the eve of the first round:
"Yes sir! For one week! 'Reunited and it feels so good!' Haaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Tesori tweeted.
Simpson and Tesori parted ways in March of 2023 after a successful 12 years that saw the pair win seven PGA Tour titles, including the 2012 U.S. Open and the 2018 Players Championship. At the time, Simpson blessed Tesori's move to fellow Wake Forest alum Cameron Young.
Later that year, Tesori—a friend of Golf Digest—joined up with Tom Kim. But the two split earlier this month ahead of the John Deere Classic.
This will be only Simpson's eighth PGA Tour start of the season. The 39-year-old will be one of Team USA's vice captains for the Ryder Cup in September.
