This "emoji tracer" is pure genius
Protracer technology has become an integral part of golf telecasts. We saw a LOT of it during FOX Sports' broadcast of the U.S. Open, which means we'll likely see a lot more of it during this week's U.S. Women's Open.
So when the Callaway Golf folks asked FOX Sports' Shane Bacon to serve up some "new and innovative" golf broadcast ideas, he played off protracer technology and suggested an "emoji tracer."
The possibilities for an "emoji tracer" are endless. So much so that Bacon added a few more suggestions.
Here are three suggestions of my own:
