Attention follows John Daly, which, as history has shown us, is not always a good thing. This week, he's garnered a modicum of notice from setting up shop on Washington Road, across the street from Augusta National, and hawking John Daly merchandise from his RV.
He probably (and sadly) needs the money (he says he does), but attempting to earn some in the shadow of a tournament to which he is not invited is tacky on a par with Pete Rose selling his autograph in Cooperstown, N.Y., on the weekend the Hall of Fame ceremony is held there each July.
